Nike
Conceptually redesign the Nike digital experience through personalization, motivation and a unified sports ecosystem.
01 / Problem
A modern user expects from a sports brand not only the purchase of a product, but also a full-fledged interaction experience.
The main problems with current solutions: lack of personalization of content, overloaded product catalog, lack of long-term engagement and weak connection between workouts and products.
02 / Project goal
The goal of the project is to create the concept of a Nike digital platform that integrates personal training, motivation and progress, equipment purchasing and social interaction.
Target audience: users 16–35 years old, beginners and sports enthusiasts, as well as people seeking regular activity.
03 / Research Insights
Key insights from the study: motivation trumps content, visualization of progress influences retention, social comparison increases engagement, and users quickly lose interest without a goal system.
Based on these findings, the concept of Nike Motion System was formed - a platform that transforms Nike into a digital sports assistant.
04 / Nike Motion System
Personal Flow is a system for selecting workouts based on the user’s goals, training level and activity.
Progress System - Tracks progress through levels, achievements and training sequences. Community Layer - challenges, ratings and interaction with other users. Smart Commerce - equipment recommendations based on training activity and preferences.
05 / UX Structure
The UX structure reduces the path to the start of a workout to a minimum number of actions, prioritizes the current day plan, constantly visualizes progress and builds in a system of motivational triggers.
Basic user scenario: the user opens the application, sees a personal plan for the day, starts a workout in one step, receives feedback during the process, and upon completion receives progress and recommendations.
06 / Visual Concept
The visual concept is based on a minimalistic interface with an emphasis on typography, dynamic training cards, a contrasting monochrome base with an accent color, progress and status animations.
The interface should create a sense of movement and energy while maintaining clarity, focus and a strong emotional connection to the brand.
07 / Outcome
In this concept, Nike acts not as an e-commerce platform, but as a digital ecosystem that forms habits, supports motivation and accompanies the user in sports development.
